Welcome to St. Alphonsus Parish School! I could not be happier that you are interested in our school for your child(ren). At St. Alphonsus we have small, dedicated classes that prepare students for each stage of their school career, starting with our accredited Preschool, continuing throughout all-day kindergarten and grade school classrooms and culminating in our 6th grade middle school program.
St. Alphonsus Parish School is a Christ-centered school where the Catholic faith is taught in the classroom every day. Students are a part of a caring, family-like environment in which each child learns to show their faith in their daily life and is encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus through regular participation in the sacraments. All-school Masses are celebrated each Wednesday at 8:30 am.
Our teaching staff brings both experience and expertise in a wide range of academic and specialist subjects. This robust combination ensures that students are well versed in reading, writing, math, science and social studies, but their talents don’t rest there. Their unique qualifications also challenge our students in physical education, technology, art and music. On top of all of this, our teachers are dedicated to providing the highest quality of Catholic education.
St. Alphonsus Parish School has made a commitment to keep up with the latest technology standards and implement them throughout the curriculum. Students in grades 5th-8th participate in a 1:1 laptop program using Chrome Books. Students in grades K-4th have access to mobile carts of laptop, a mobile cart of iPads and desktop computers in their classrooms.
Located in Brooklyn Center, we are an accredited school that has been part of the community for more than 50 years. We have convenient school hours of 7:30 am — 1:45 pm.
